About the Event
Step into the world of visual storytelling with Travis Heying, photojournalist for The Wichita Eagle. For decades, Heying’s camera has captured the heart and soul of Kansas, documenting everything from major news events to the hidden gems that we may have forgotten about or never known. Behind every one of his stunning images is a story filled with conversations, thoughtful preparation and sometimes lucky happenstance. Hear some of his back stories that will only enrich the pictures we see online or in print. Heying’s pictures are worth a thousand words and after this event, you will know exactly why.
