The entrance to the Prairie Pavilion can be reached by taking the path through “Our Mother’s Garden” on the west side of the Arboretum main parking lot.
The Prairie Pavilion foyer includes a small area for a sign in table, and entrances to restrooms and a small coat room/dressing room.
Doors separate the foyer from the main meeting room/reception hall.
A PA system, screen and projector are available to use. Projector use requires an additional fee.
The large 48 foot by 42 foot room is perfect for trainings, meetings, retreats, parties and wedding receptions.
The high tent-like ceiling and craftsman-style architecture create an open, but elegant backdrop for decorations.
Two full walls of windows let in lots of natural light and provide views of the Arboretum grounds and lake.
One full wall of sliding-glass doors opens onto a small covered patio for additional seating. A beautiful ceremony location by the lake is easily accessible and visible from this vantage point.
