Prairie Pavilion

The Prairie Pavilion, completed in July of 2011,  provides a wonderful indoor, climate-controlled pavilion or tent feel for weddings, receptions, formal dinners or business workshops and trainings. As in the Visitor and Education Center, tables and padded chairs are available for use. An entry hallway, restrooms, a storage area that doubles as a catering prep area, and small bridal room are also included.

Rates (Prairie Pavilion)

*The rates listed below do not apply to weddings and are not available on Saturdays during peak wedding season.  Click here for wedding rates.

  • $200 provides 5-hour use
  • $300 provides 10-hour use
  • $40/hour for additional hours

Includes banquet hall, covered patio, entryway, small preparation/coat room and restrooms. Large screen and public announcement system may be added for a fee (see rental inquiry packet).

Renter is responsible for set-up and tear-down, or can add the staff set-up/take-down fee (see rental inquiry packet).

Deposit:

A $100 damage deposit is required for all non-wedding rentals to reserve the space.  This fee is in addition to rental fees and will be returned to the renter following a satisfactory inspection of the facility by arboretum staff.
